Title: A VERY SIMPLE STRONG-LENSING ANALYSIS METHOD AND IMPORTANT IMPLICATIONS

Abstract:
Strong-lensing is often seen in galaxy clusters, as light rays of background sources get deflected by the cluster's gravitational potential, forming magnified, distorted, and often multiple images. We have developed a uniquely efficient method to find and match these multiple-images to their background sources, model the cluster lensing configuration and therefore to accurately derive the (dark) mass distribution. I will talk about this method, and concentrate on several different cosmological applications and ongoing projects, using nowadays advanced lensing techniques.
